FAQ
Thanks!

When is the RSVP Deadline? Please RSVP by December 31, 2024, so we can have an accurate headcount.

Can I bring a plus-one? If your invitation includes a "plus-one" or specifies that you may bring a guest, then you are welcome to do so.

Are children welcome to the wedding festivities? Yes, children are welcome to join the wedding festivities. However, we kindly request that guests ensure their children are supervised throughout the events.

I’ve never been to an Indian wedding before. What should I expect? Traditionally, Indian weddings tend to be large and span over a couple of days. Although each region of India has its own specific customs, the general concept is the same – it’ll be filled with vibrant colors, music, and plenty of food and dancing. Although family members and close friends may have a role, the remainder of the guests are invited to sit back and enjoy.

What time should I arrive for the ceremonies? We are trying to break the IST (Indian standard time) stereotype and will be starting the events promptly in accordance with the times referred to on the events page.

What is the dress code for the wedding events? Reference events and attire page.

What is the nearest airport? The nearest airport to the wedding venue is Orlando International Airport (MCO). Reference travel and accommodations page.

Are there any hotel recommendations or group rates available? Yes, we have secured a special group rate at The Gaylord Palms. Please visit our travel and accommodations page for booking details and links.

What are the parking accommodations for the events?
Complimentary self-parking is offered at the venue and valet is available for $40/night.

What kind of food will there be? Will there be food options for guests with dietary restrictions? We often say that the best part of an Indian wedding is the food. There will be a wide variety of dishes with vegetarian and non-vegetarian options at each of the events. The food will be served buffet style, so that guests will have the option to choose what they’d like to eat. Please let us know if you have any food restrictions or allergies.

Do you have a wedding registry? We will not be having a registry. During this special moment in our lives, your presence at our wedding is more than enough to make our day. If you would like to honor us with a gift, we are kindly requesting no boxed gifts during the reception, which is a familiar Indian wedding custom.
